Year 10 participant TAURANGA Yr 9-11 (ages 14-16) OWNING YOUR VOICE It’s a lot sometimes, right? Friends, school, family, expectations and everyone seems to have an opinion about who you should be or maybe even starting to ask you what or who you want to be. In the middle of all that noise, it can be hard to hear your own voice, let alone have an answer. The Future You Project is here to help you slow things down and reconnect with what matters to you. Our coaching sessions are about figuring out your strengths, understanding your emotions, and building the self-belief to make decisions that feel right for your life - not anyone else’s version of it. YOU'LL EXPLORE THEMES INCLUDING... Friendships: choose your tribe wisely. Dealing with conflict in our friendship group. Self-leadership: when you need more than bubble baths and candles. Challenging the social influences on our mental health and wellbeing. Perfectly imperfect : the role of perfectionism and the “good girl” in our mental health. Stronger together: how feminism really works and what we need to do to push back on societal expectations and challenge norms (hint: it’s in the title). We don't do lectures. We do REAL TALK. You’ll be listened to, challenged in a good way, and supported to find answers that actually work for you. We are here to help you see how capable you already are and remind you that you don’t have to have everything sorted. These years are about exploring who you are and who you’re becoming.
