YOUR CIRCLE

COMMUNITY

It takes a community to raise confident, connected young people and The Future You Project is proud to be part of that collective effort.

We work alongside youth organisations, iwi groups, local councils, and community leaders who share our belief that every young woman deserves access to the tools, guidance, and encouragement she needs to thrive. Together, we help build pathways that strengthen both individuals and the networks around them. Our programmes are grounded in the values of manaakitanga (care and hospitality), hauora (wellbeing of the whole person), and kotahitanga (unity and shared purpose). Whether through group coaching, or leadership initiatives, we aim to nurture confidence, connection, and resilience across all layers of community life.

We pride ourselves on providing age-appropriate content and have conversations that are specific to their age to ensure each of our girls leave with a deeper understanding of self and their social world.

HOW WE COLLABORATE WITH COMMUNITIES

  • Partner with existing youth services

  • Co-design workshops or events that reflect local community needs

  • Work with iwi and community leaders to create inclusive, empowering spaces for rangatahi.

  • Support joint projects that promote wellbeing, voice, and leadership among young people.

Every partnership begins with conversation, sharing ideas, challenges, and hope for what’s possible when we work together. FYP brings coaching expertise and youth development knowledge; you bring local insight and community connection. Together, we create something powerful: spaces where young people feel safe, valued, and ready to lead.

If your organisation, council, or iwi group is passionate about empowering rangatahi, we’d love to collaborate. Let’s build something that lasts for today’s young women and the generations who will follow.
